Winter trip 2006/07 part I

This year’s trip is shorter time-wise, since we began in College Station there were no stops in Indiana (for me) of course. So no visit in Bloomington, or Jasper. Bubba was nice enough to mail springerlings to my sister’s, so todays coffee is quite a treat with crunchy cookies from Jasper IN. Oh, Edie says if you package hard cookies with soft cookies they all end up the same- I separated them so the hard may have been harder and the soft softer. Delicious.

We left from College Station to Roswell, then off to Las Cruces after x-mas. On the way to Las Cruces we went through Ruidoso and the Mescalero reservation.

We stopped at White Sands for a moment.

These are the Organ Mountains, they lie to the east of Las Cruces.

Next stop, Arizona.

Back from Ohio… what a blast!
